He said with a frustrated look in his eyes. I didn't say anything when he poured his heart out. Frankly, I didn't know what to say. The last time I've seen him in this situation was 6 years ago. But at that time, I just saw changes in him physically. He never talked to me those days because we weren't this close yet.
"I need your help. You are the only person in my life that I can talk to,"
"What do you want me to do?"
"Be there for me. Help push me when you see me drifting apart. Help yank me out of this,"
His eyes broke my heart. It's sad to see someone so solid breaking apart.
He needs me now. If by pushing him can save him from this heartache, then I will, by all means push him to his grave, I mean to his senses.
