Ajax the Munkey

When Ajax is back in town, it can only mean one thing.


"Gayah, aku ngan mak bapak aku nak gi RP malam ni. Jumpa kau kat sana eh nok!!"


Yes. Clubs.


Ajax and mamak don't go along very well. You don't see Ajax there. And the thing about this munkey is, when he calls you to ask you out, you better go or else, you won't see him until the next trip back, which would be sometime in 2015.


You see, Ajax to me is like golongan yang dah tak sedo diri tak gheti2 nak balik since he started working in Dubai for what? 5 years now? His trips normally would be a 10 day trip. 10 days you said would be enough to arrange for something right? But noooooo.... Instead of spending some quality time with family and friends during his short trip, he just had to go to Bangkok la.. Jakarta la.. for some parties there. That 10 days trip becomes 3 days je la for friends yang beria-ia nak bergossip nih.


So, when he called me last night, with my heavy head felt like going to explode, I dragged my feet to RP to see him. Nasib baik dekat dengan rumah. RP was relatively quiet on a Monday night but being with Ajax's family, the place was a total blast. I have to say, I envy Ajax's family. His parents are at the age of 55 and 54 but they can still dance for one hour straight without even bothered to stop for a drink. And I'm not just talking about joget makyong here ok.. salsa, hip hop, the works lah. To be watching them from far pun boleh buat I sakit pinggang.


But what I envy most about them is the love and affection they have towards each other. There was one time, aunty was given the mic to sing along with the band. And being the notorious karaoke family, her voice is so mantap I tell you. When she finished, uncle turned around, looked at me and with pride and love and affection in his eyes said, "that's my wife!!". HUUWWAAAAAA!! I want thaaatttttt!!!


I had soooo much fun with them. Being good dancers these bunch help too. Ajax I tell you!! Walaupun aku menyampah writing this, I have to say this monyet can REALLY move. We did Lady Gaga's moves last night, Shakira, and of course, Beyonce. This monyet can dance to exactly Beyonce's steps on Single Ladies from the beginning to the end!


I'm meeting them again this Saturday night for a last spin on the dance floor with the monyet. He'll be going back to Dubai the next day and God knows when will I see him next. I guess I have to start dancing again every night in my room to compete with this bunch.



Oh. I need to ask aunty what the heck she's been taking to have so much energy like that. Malu siot at the age of 30 baru dance 30 menet aku dah sakit pinggang!


p/s: Ibu Adam, Ajax suruh aku paksa kau ikut skali. You know, like the old days... Aku dah kena ada mission memujuk Jazabelle jugak. Walaupun (in Ajax's exact words) bawak Jazabelle pegi club dah sama macam bawak dia gi library, yang penting we are back to Amazon days. Hehe.
